Wellington, this day. Mr Blake does nob inbend to seek re-elec-tion for Riccaroon. Mr Richmond Harathouae la spoken of aa likely bo contest Waimea Sounds with Mr C. H. Mills. Mr H. D. Bell is still undecided whether he will come forward for Wellington. Mr Fitzgerald, menbioned 88 a possible opponent of Mr Seddon, waß formerly Warden and Residenb Magistrate on the Wesb Coaab, and waa formerly a member of the House of Representatives. He is spoken of as a man of great ability,_ and is now editor of the "Titnaru Herald." The Liberal Association has decided to supporb Sir Roberb Stout, Mr F. H. Fraser and Mr T. K. Macdonald for Wellington. Only 33 members oub of a 240 membership were present. One thousand new claims have been pub on tho Wellingbon supplementary roll up to the present. THE PREMIER. 16 ia probable Mr Seddon will unfold the Govornmenb policy in hia speech ab Dunedin.
