H.M.S. TAURANGA■ V. CITY CRICKET CLUB.
Yesterday afternoon a cricket match was played in the Domain between a team from H. M.s. Tauranga and the City Cricket Club. The match ended in a decisive win for the first-named, who defeated the Uiby Club by 123 runs. For the winners Abdy, Cogging and Pelly batted well, and Coggins was mosb successful with the ball. City C.C.—Sexton, sb Abdy, 1 ; Holden, b Crook, 0; Rowe, c and b Cogeins, 1 ; Ryburn, c and b Coggins, 0; Courb, c Pelley, 9 ; Coupland, c Roulley, 2; Bradstreet, lbw Coggins, 8; Lungmuiro, c Abdy, 9 ; Diddams, c Pelley, 2 ; Hutson, c and b Coggins, 9; Chapped, nob oub, 1; extras, 1; total, 43. A cricket match, Butchers v. Dairymen was also played yesterday on the Domain cricket ground, the Dairymen proving successful.
