THE MORVEN.
A fino four-masted steel barque, the Morven, may be expected to arrive here in a few days' time from Capetown via Porb Chalmers Heads to load wool during the ensuing season for London. The vessel is under charter to the New Zealand Shipping Company and will bo one of the largest sailing ships to enter the Waifcomata. She is quite a new vessel and is now on her first voyage out) from England, having been launched at Greenock in April lasb by Messrs Duncan and Company for Mossra R. R. R. I'aternon and Company of thab port. Her neb register is 1,997 tons, and her gross tonnage is 2,150. Her dimensions are: Length, 280fb, 2in ; breadth, 42ft lin ; and depth, 24fb 4in, and she is classed 100 Al at Lloyd'u. She lefb London for Algoa Bay, where she arrived come three monbhß ago, and on discharge was chartered by the Now Zealand Shipping Company. She was ordered on to Porb Chalmers Heads, and on arrival there last week was sent on to thia port, Captain John Page is in command.
