Mr Reeves loft Christchurch, for every man who wanted it. j> George spoke of his candidature for Parliament, and the meeting passed him a vote" thanks for the assistance he had render^ tho unemployed. Groans were givenlo the Lyttelton "Times" and the Mm* for Labour, and cheers for the " Press.
