THE PRICE OF WOOL.

(To the Editor.) Sib,—So sure as this season of tho year arrives, just before the commencement of our wool sales in Auckland, comes the annual doleful croak of the Auckland " Herald " predicting or repeating news of tho coming down in ■ the price of wool. Whether the " Horald's " annual prediction of bad pricos has to do with tho low rate of wool in Auckland or not, seems mysterious. However that may be, the Auckland prices aro lower—considorably so—than any othor Australian colony, or in the othor provinces ot this colony. Our local wool growers often talk over the above.—l am, etc., Wool-grower.
