A second meeting of the conference of representatives of various religious denominations, convened by Bishop Julius, to considor the question of securing the introduction of religious teaching into the publio achoola of bho colony, was hold yesterday. It was reported that the Committee appointed to devise a suitable toxb-boot had failed to como to any agreement. Ib was decided to form an association, to M called " The Scripture Text-book in Publio Schools Association," its object being to secure the introduction into the schools of tho colony of a suitable Scripturo textbook, to be used under the time-table and conscience clause.
