At the Napier Park meeting tD-day the amount put through the machine was £5,328. Results of concluding events are appended :
Telephone Handicap of 50 soys, ono mile.— Watorlily, 1: Prairie Grass, 2; T. Rose, 3. Patch'feldb, Bst 71b, was the only other starter. Won fairly comfortably. Time, lmin 47sec. Dividend, £3 14a'. 153 on tho winner.
Second Handicap Hurdles of SOsovs, ono mile and three-quarters.—Couranto, 1; Jack, 2; Vasco, 3, (151) Dromedary, lOst 121b ; (48) Auckland, lOst 21b ; (63) Chester, lOsb ; (10) Premium, 9st 121b ; (97) Disturbance, 9st 121b, also ran. Couranto passpd tho post hard held a length in front of Jack, Vasco three lengths away third. Timo, 3mio 35 3-sth sec. Dividend, £3 2s. 344 on the winner.
Juvenile Handicap of 70sovs; for two-year-olds. Four furlongs. — Tartan, 1; Maluri, 2 ; St. Kevin, 3. Those were tbe only starters. Tartan led all the way and had an easy victory. Time,slsec. Dividend, £2 2s.
Grandstand Handicap of 50sovs, seven furlongs.—Rangiatea, 1 ; Mystic, 2; Avis, 3. (119) Dreamland, Sst 81b ; (104) Queen of Trumps, Sst 21b ; (77) Scot Free, 7st3lb ; (175) Midas, 7st lib ; (15) St. Malo, 6st 71b; (43) Zaccho, Bstßlb ; also ran. Won easily. Time, lmin 35 l-sth sec. Dividend, £4 3a. 179 on tbo winner.
