Next Saturday tho Victoria Amateur Turf Club Meeting opens ab Caulfield when the Goineas, Caulfield Stakes, and Toorak Handicap will bo run. The results of those three evonts will probably throw somo light upon future events. The winDJL1 and runnor up of the A.J.C. Derby, Trenchant and Solanum aro nob engaged in the Guineas.
