AUCKLAND ELECTORATES.

Mr Malcolm Niccol will addross the electors of Edou on Friday evening at the Devonport Hall.

Mr E. Mitchelson will b8 up here from Wellington ourly nexb week, and will then commence his campaign in the Eden electorate. Mr J. M. Dargaville addressed a crowded meeting of Eden electors in St. George's Hall, Nowton, lasb ovoning, Mr J. T. B, Dine 3 being iv the chair. Tho candidate received a vote of thanks and cunlidence. Ho will address the electors of Kingsland, Morningside, etc., in tho Mount Albert Schoolroom this evening at 7.30 o'clock.

The Auckland Trades and Labour Council was unanimous in its choice of Mr Tudehope, J.P., as a suitable candidate for Auckland City.

Mr John Bryce, in an address in tho " Waikato Times,'' says : " Meanwhile, I am not a candidate for an} district, and I think it right to add thab howevor improbable it may be under tho circumstances that I shall become a candidate for Waipa, it is infinitely more improbable that I shall bd a candidate for any other district in the colony at tho next general olection."

Major Hamlin, M.H.R., has not yet decided whether to contest the Frankliu seat again or not. The present candidates aro Major Harris and Mr Massey.
