MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS,
Alburnia.—Dixon's reof in the Eastern drive is four feet thick, and on tho whole looks well, although no gold has been seen in the past few days. The mineral indications are good, and the quartz is turning out well at the battory. A good supply of payablo quartz ia coming to hand from the second otope. The run of gold haa now been provod by tho winze from No. 5 stope to be dipping to the eastward, but is running exceedingly flat, consequently the drive at tho 70-foot level has not boeu advanced sufficiently far to meet its underlie. Gold is treoly seen in tho footwall branch at tho No. 7 stopo wosb, A few pounds of picked etone are occasionally saved. Tho amalgam on hand for the wook from berdans and pans is 6280z, the total amalgam on hand ],131oz, together with 901b of picked stone.
Junction. — The reef carries bright mineral, and the manager hopes beforo long, from tho indications, to see gold showing.
