" Pulpit v. Stage" was thesubjeeb of a debate at a meeting of All Saints' Literary Society, held last evening in the Schoolroom. Mr J. H. Upton presided. The Rev. W. Caldor opened on behalf of tha pulpit, and Mr A. A. Hough on behalf of the stage, and on the question being put to the meeting ib waa found that tho advocates of the stage had had the best of the argument.
