THE DORIC ARRIVED AT WELLINGTON.
The Shaw Savill direct steamer Doric from London via way ports, arrived at Wellington this morning after a passage of 44£ days duration. Sho brings 124 passengers for various Now Zealand ports and 2,200 tons of general carco, of which 1,200 are for Wellington, 600 for Lyttelton and 400 for trans-shipment. She has 9 I)ap;s of mails and 44 boxes of parcel post. The following are the passengers for Auckland :—Saloon : Messrs F. S. Clay and G. S. Keighley. Second saloon : Captain and Mrs Makgill and family, Mesdamcs Buckley and Bout), Messrs Shipworth (2). Steerage: Mr and Mrs Dilke and family, Miss Kate Abbott, H, Lewis, J. Simpson, JK. Belts, E. Murray and E. Wood, Messrs M. Casey.. E. Causen, C. Nettleton, T. Rawloy, Mra Oat 3, and family. Messrs L. D. Nathan and Co. are the local agonta for the vessel, and they advise us that Auckland passengers, periodicals, aucl cargo will arrive by the steamers Australia and Taluno, due here early next week.
