Three of us went down to a littlo town in Ohio to work a hardware store. The old man who owned ib was the banker for all the peoplo in the village, and wo expected to make a good haul. But, alas, wo mob wibh a sad disappointment. VVo broke into the store and found a ghost all right. 'A ghost means a safe in thieves' parlance,' explained Rohan. '" Wo found a ghosb," continued the thief, " and bho boya wenb to work to blow ib open with powder. Luckily for me I wus piping off on the outside while my two pals did the inside work. Thoy lighted the fuse and stepped away about five feeb behind a partition. The explosion thab occurred blew the wholo building down, and all thab was ever found of my old pal was an arm." ' " Whab was tho troubleJ" ' Well, the old follow who owned the store was very stingy, He sold dynamite, and in order to escape high insurance rates put ib in his safe.
