NORTH SHORE CRICKET CLUB.
The annual general meeting of the North Shore Cricket Club was held in the Devonport Borough Council Chambers last night. The Mayor of Devonport, Mr E. W. Alison, was in the chair, supported by Messrs J. F. Logan, T. 0. Self, and C. W. Hemery, Vice-presidents. Twenty-six members were present. The Committee's report and balance-sheet were adopted. The following officers wero elected for the coming season : President, the Mayor, Mr E. W. Alison;! Vice-presidents, Messrs J. F. Logan, W. Philcox, F. Y. Goring, and L. 0. Self; Secretary, Mr R. J. Bunby; Captain, Mr R. Wynyard ; Committeo, Messrs A. B. Burgess, W. R. Goudie, H. Chapman, W. Swanson, E. Cave and E. Charles ; Auditor, Mr E. Brown; Delegate, Mr R. Wynyard. Trophies for last season wero presented by Mr T. C. Self for the best batting average to Mr A. B. Burgess, for bowline average to Mr R. Wynyard; by Mr J. F. Logan for best field to Mr C. J. Hemery; and by Mr C. W. Hemery for highost score to Mr E. R. Jones. Trophies for the coming season in the various branches of the game wore promised as follows : Lieutenant Hume, Messrs J. F. Logan, T. C. Solf, batting and bowling, ancl His Worship the Mayor (E. W. Alison). Fifteen new members were proposed and : elected.
