Morgan, Justices.)
Drunkenness.—For being found drank in the public streets, Margaret Wall and John Cozens wero each fined five shillings, with the alternative of 24 hours' impriaoninenb.— A first offender was also fined.
Throwing Stones.—A lad named John O'Keefe was charged with that ho did on the 28tb August unlawfully throw a misslo, to wit, a piece of clay, in Manukau Road, in the Borough of Newmarkeb, to tho danger of John Denniaon, a person passing.— Accused pleaded guilty, and was dismissed with a caution.
Hotel Light. — Matthew Jamos MeMahon, liceneee of the Albion Hotel, waß charged with that) between aunsob of the 6th and sunrise of the 7th September he did not koep the lamp over tho principal door alighb.—Accucad stated that he had no iutontion of breaking the bye-law, The porter had lighted the lamp as usual, and had turned the gas off in tho morning.—A tine of Is, without costs, was inflicted.
