Tho Auckland team had a practice tbia morning in the Recreation. Ground in the presence of a crowd of /spectators. The

Taranaki mou practised also on another ground. .Both . teams 'iro to bo taken for a drive to Wni'nru this afternoon, and to Kennedy';- Dramatic Company _to,night. The Tarnaaki boys have pot had much united practice as the membera are gathered from ail parts of the

district. They are much heavier than our reps., however, and are expected to win. Their toam will probably be :—Full. Ji Rob3on; three-quarters, Alf. Bayly, A. Good, H. Good; five-eighths, E.
