Lieutenant Kennedy, of Napier, scored 185 points in the second stage for the Queen's Prize at the National Rifle Association meeting ab Bisley. Nothing under 189 can compete in the final stage.

Sergeant Davies, of the First Welsh Volunteers, won the Quean's prize ab Bieley. In the county match, Kent beab Surrey by 22 runs, after an exciting game.
