Per Rinhmond, from Tahiti and Rarotonga:—2,62o cases oranges, 1,100 bunches bananas, 52 sacks colieo, 75 sacks cocoanuts, 50 tons copra and quantity of sundries.
The schooner Queen arrived ab Hokianga yesterday from this port. The barquentine PendieHill is now loading coal at Newcastle for Napior. At Mangonui the barquentine Kato Tntham is loaded ready to sail .for Sydney. H.M.s. Boomerang lefb Thursday Island for Townsville, Biisbana and Sydney, on the 7th inst. The barque Examiner berthed ab the Queen-streob Wharf to-day to take in ballast. Last evening the s.s. Taviuni sailed for Suva and Lovuka with passengers and a lurgo general cargo. The barquentine Chittocir arrived at Sydney on the 4th inst with a cargo of wheat from Melbourne. > The schooner Marmion was hauled on to the hard ab the breastwsrk for overhaul and cleaning this morning. This morning tho Eagle berthed the Norwegian barquo Ephialtos at tha Quaystreet jetty to discharge her grain. The barquentine Rio and tha brigantine M. A. Dorau, both for Sydney with timber, sailed from trie Kaipara yesterday. American advice stated that the wellknown barque Star of the East was likely to be pub on berth forFreomantle. The mission schooner Southern Crosa is expected to arrive here to-morrow evening from Mongonui. The soa is still very high on the coast. Tho barojuontino Cuthona was shifted over from the broaatwork to the Piailway Wharf to-day, by the Eagle. She loada there for her island cruise. News from Patca via Wellington states that the stranded steamer Waiotapu has been moved 120 feeb seaward, and it was hoped to flout her oIT yesterday. From Northern ports thia morning the steamers Wellington, Clansman and Douglas brought down 205 sacks and 340 cases kauri gum, besides sundries. There will bo no trip to Melbourno next week by tho Union Company's steamer. The s.s. Waihora, which leaves on Thursday noxt for Southern ports is to be laid up on arrival at Port Chalmers. On tho 6th inft. the Auckland-owned schooner Sovereign arrived ab Sydney from Aneityum, New Hebrides. Duringher cruise she oncountered the hurricane which proved bo disastrous to the islands and the Bhippin<» but came through it without a scratch. She"'returned to Sydney looking like a yacli!'.
