THE BRITISH INCOME TAX.
London, June 13. In reply to a question in the House ot" Commons, Sir W. V. Harcourb, Chancellor of the Exchequer, stated that foreign and colonial dividends were liable to be taxed when they arrived, therefore the 7d income tax would be deducted from dividends for the half year ending Ist June.
