REPORTED SALE OF THE KANIERI
A telegraphic message from Wellington stated that the Union Steamship Company have sold their steamer Kanieri, 220 tons, now running in the Auckland-East Coast trade, to the Northern Steamship Company. We understand thab although negotiations are pending between the abovenamod Companies, noShing definite has yes been effected as regards the purchase. If, however, the Northern Company do take tho Kanieri over she will continue in her present running for at leasbanother month. Whan ahe is removed from it nor place wiil probably be taken by the Oreti.
