FIGHTING IN NICARAGUA.
A SANGUINARY ENCOUNTER,
DEFEAT OF THK GOVERNMENT
TROOPS.
New York, May 25. A battle occupying two, and a-half days has taken place in Nicaragua beoween Government troops and the rebels. Half the Government army was destroyed, and their wounded were removed in cart loads.
