PAYMENT OF INTEREST ON
LOANS,
THE RE-CONSTRUCTION SCHEME,
London, May. 25.
Bankers are satisfied thab the Victoria Government's remittance for payment of interest on loans will be received in time. It not, the Government will remit the amount (£220,000) in gold or cable a transfer. The London Board heartily approve of the re-construction scheme of the Bank of Victoria
Melbourne, May 25.
At a meeting of the depositors of the English, Scottish and Australian Chartered Bank the re-construction scheme was adopted.
