STRANDING OF THE ANNIE WILSON.
A TOTAL WRECK.
CARGO BEING SAVED.

Wellington, this day. Repokts from Manaia stats that the schooner Annie Wilson is in a hopeleas condition as far as saving the vessel is concerned. The natives are assisting the crew in saving cargo, and if tho southerly weather continues moderate, most of the cargo will be saved. It is, however, greatly damaged by the water. The captain states that, through boinc becalmod during thick weather, he had lost his bearings, and thought he had rounded Caps Egmont. The Annie Wilson is owned by Messrs Mitchelson Broa., of Auckland, and is registered in the name of Mr Jno. Dennan, a partner in the firm.
