Mr McGdire addressed his constituents at' Stratford last evening, and received a vote of thanks and confidence. The only cv'iing new in his speech was that he expres 9°d doubb as to fche advancement of th c cooperative system, and condemned the Government for refusing to adopt a schema l'o had lately promoted for dealing with tbe Taranaki difficulty.
