"ALADDIN" AT THE OPERA HOUSE.
The Liiiputian Opera Company which U just opened in Abbott's Opera House wiS! •' Aladdin up to Date " has every pro ** of an excellent season. A large audienon greeted the reproduction of "Aladdin" last evening, and the combination certain], deserves good liousob during it s seas y here, it can safely be said that nothioD ho excellent in ics line as this Company ho* been seen in Auckland. The company i 8! large one, the scenery i 9 beautiful and the costumes superb, and tha fun of the pantomine is irresistible JTrom beginning to end lasb evening the audience were constantly "on the laugb " All the members of the troupe played and sang well, bub special need of praise is dug to Miss Marion Mitchell, Masters Alf Stephens, Quealy and W. Percy. Mi sg y Mowbray'e skirt dance was a very graceful bit of dancing and posturing, and the little lady was rewarded with great applause The pretty baileb dances and marches were amongst the most attractive features of tha patomime, and the well painted stage pictures at the close delighted the house. The transformation scene was certainly a remarkable triumph of art. "Aladdin" will be repeated this evening.
