"GRAPHIC" CHRISTMAS NUMBER.
1 'jgt* The Christmas number of the "Now Zealand Graphic " is now published, and can be obtained from agents and runners everywhere, and also at the Star Office. Of this production it can truly be said that it requires to be seen to be appreciated, its many highly artistic and attractive features being really beyond pen and ink description. A panoramic view of the Auckland harbour, from Birkenhead, is in itself a genuine work of arc, and ib is safe to assert that nothing finer has ever been done iii this colony, probably no better pictorial supplement has ever been issued in Australasia. Above all, the picture is accurate in detail, and affords an excellent view of the expansive waters of the Waitemata. The "Graphic" itself, apart from the pictorial supplement, contains much admirablyselected reading matter appropriate to this festive season, and a very large number of pictorial illustrations in several colours, the interesb of persons outside of New Zealand having been specially consulted. There is already a large demand for the Christmas number, and a large number of copies are now obtainable.
