This year it b#s been decided to offer the yearlings bred ab Wapiti by Major George at Hunter and Nolan's yards, Durhamstreet, on Friday, 30th December, ab 12 noon. Only four yearlings will be submitted, sired by that grand old racehorse Nelson, viz,, chestnut filly by Nelson from Tena_bra(a full brother toPegasus and halfbrother to Raglan); chestnut filly by Nelson from The Maid (half-sister to The Workaan); chestnub colt by Nelson from Florence (ha'.'-prother bo Fiesole and Coalscuttle) ; anr".'s£iestnut filly by Nelson from Memphis (fsaf-sisber bo Reprisal and ■%'yntus). Nelson has given ample proof that lie is destined to become as famous ab the etud as he was on tho race-cour3e, and there should be plenty of competition for theae fo«_ yearlings,, whose breeding cannot bewa&ed.
