SERIOUS GUN ACCIDENT.
A young man named C. Lincoln, cadet on Surrey farm, 16 miles from Mercer, Waikato, accidentally shot himself in the left shoulder yesterday, while handling abreechloading gun. Drs. Dalziel and Roberton having attended the sufferer and removed some small bones, he was brought down to Auckland by the first train this morning, and was conveyed to private lodgings for surgical treatment. The injuries" are of a serious nature, the charge having passed through tho shoulder.
