CONSTIPATION.
Or costiveness, is one of the most frequent results of liver complaint, and requires prompb and careful attention, for if the fecal matter becomes impacted in tbe bowels dangerous effects are to be apprehended. The justly celebrated Dr. Abernebhy said thab inattention to the action of the stomach and bowels was the cause of ninety per cent, of our physical ailments, and modern science has proved this assertion correct. Care, however, requires to be observed in the choice of remedies, for there are numerous drastic and violent cathartics sold under various fancy names, but Dr. Fletcher's Pills are used with the besb advantage in such cases. These pillß are from tho prescription of Dr. Bell Fletcher, of Birmingham, England, and were used by him in his private and General Hospital practice there for many years with the greatest success. This, as a matter of course, proves their reliability, and Mr A. M. Beauchamp, Rata, Rangitikei, N.Z., says :—"I wish to inform you of the good Fletcher's Pills are doing here. Everybody uses them, and speaks well of bhem ; and so do I, for they are the best I ever used in my life." They can be obtained from all medicine vendors, or direcb from F. M. Clements, Newtown,' Sydney, for thirteen penny stamps.
