DEATH OF A CRIMEAN VETERAN.
(BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
.Ashburton, this day. Samuel Corrigan, a Crimean and Indian veteran, who served with the Royal Engineers through the Crimean campaign, in ex-Governor Jervois' Company, and afterwards joined the Horse Artillery, and also served in the Indian mutiny, died at Wimald yesterday, aged 63.
