Tho Union Company's s.s. Takapuna, 930 tons, Captain J. Grant, took her departure at noon to-day with cargo and passengers.
The Northern Company's s.s., Gairloch from Waitara arrived at noon to-day with a cargo of stock, and passengers as above. She lefb for WaHara and New Plymouth at one o'clock to-day, fairly patronised with freighb and passengers.
