THE LAMBETH POISONER.
London, October 22.
Neill, the Lambeth poisoner, was tried for the murder of Matilda Clover only, though there wero charges against him of having poisoned three others. The defence offered no evidence, and after the judge had summed up the jury retired, bub were absent only twelve minutes, returning with a verdict of wilful murder. Justice Sir Henry Hawkins then pronounced eentence of death. Hi 6 Honor characterised the murder as unexampled in atrocity.
