>■>':'■ M The much-talked-of fancy dress ball fat; Miss Scott'a juvenile pupils took place if the Choral Hall last evening, and was* brilliant success. The hall was decorated; with ferns, and an arch of lilies, which ths children marched through, was a conspicuous ornament. The grand march wa» on* of the prettiesb we have, seen, the ordef and time kept by the little ones being perfection. The deportment exhibited by the children throughout the even« ing speaks highly for the training and discipline they have so evidently re* ceived. This wbb freely commented on bj the spocatora, and was quite one of tut features of the ball. A minuet was danced by Misses A. Scofct, Dickey, Ki"g§ Kilgour (2), Walker (2), Cardno (2)r Logan and Cave, Masters Cardno, Anthony, Richardson and Bates. The final, when each boy knelt over over bis little la<|y • ha,nd, was a specimen of real old tinW. gallantry. Tho fairies' dance needed to M seen to b« appreciated. The children moving ferns to time, and singing meanwhile, was very effective. In one part Wf formed bowers, and two dots of four dance* through them. In another figure two children danced a fan gavotte exquisitely' Every fancy dance and the march eliei«» prolonged applause from the spectator* The dancing throughout was adjniraWflj. and reflects tho highest credit on. »«■■ Scott.
