Lord Rosebery, Foreign Seoretary, replying to an anti-slavery deputation which waited upon him with reference to affairs in Uganda, stated thab England would nob break the continuity of her policy in regard toßlavery.
London, October 2i In replying to the nnti-slavery deputation, Lord Rotebery admitted that Uganda was the key to Central Africa, and tiald thab personally be vu strongly averse to the evacuation of the country by Great Britain.
