LABOUR TROUBLES.

Tho West Wallscnd Company have replaced tho engineers who wont out on strike with non-unionists. The members of the Minors' Association havo decided not to identify themselves with tho dispute. Tho Defence Committoo at Broken Hill have offered to withdraw tho pickets if tho owners will agreo to hold a conference. This tho owners refuse to do, intimating thab work at tho mines is progressing satisfactorily.
