Wellington, Tuesday. From further particulars to band, it appears that McCallnm was accompanied by John Davis and a boy namod John MeGioj_or. When the boat reached Day's B-y. McCallnm and McGregor put off in a small flat-bottomed punt, which soon afterwards capsized. McCallum losb hia hold, and was drowned, bub McGregor clung to the boat till it floated ashore.
