BAPTIST UNION OF NEW ZEALAND.
AUCKLAND DISTRICT ASSOCIATION.
This afternoon, tbe half-yearly meeting of the Auckland District Association of the Baptist Union of New Zealand was held in the Ponsonby Baptist Church.
The following delegates were present :— Tabernacle: Rev. J. Blaikio, Messrs S. H. Matthews, J. T. Garlick, E. Best, Henry Newton, VV. T. Murray, R. B. Shaldora. Ponsonby Baptist Church : Rev. J. D, Gilmore, Messrs E. Turner, J. Graham, R. Reevo, G. W. Owen, and Mount Eden. Church: Roy. G. D. Cox and Mr Champion. Thames Church : Rev. VV. R. Woolley, Messrs J. Heard and George Lovett. Rev. H. H. Driver, Secretary of the New Zealand Baptißt Missionary Society, was also present. Proceedings commenced at 3.16 and opened with prayer. The business to be transacted this afternoon is of a formal character. Mr Robort Reeve is to read a paper on Homo Mission Work. This evening a tea and public meeting will bo held in connection with tbe meeting. Pastor J. D. Gilmore will preside. Addresses are to be delivered by the Revs. J. Blaikie and VV. R. Woolley and Mr S. H. Matthews.
