SATISFACTORY HALF-YEAR,
The cable news to-day announces that the half-yearly report and balance-sheet of the Bank of New Zealand, which is to be presented at the meeting of shareholders on the 10th instant shows a very satisfactory six months' business. The report Is published thus early in pursuance of the practice adopted by the London Board of circulating tho reporb beforehand, in order thab shareholders may meet with a knowledge of what will be submitted to.thorn,
