RangeKs v. Druids. —W. Heather started the ball for the Rangers, which was speedily carried to the Druids' goal, but vvas returned by Jowitb, who was deputed by the Druids to defend their goal. The ball was again brought inbo bhe vicinity of the Druids' goal, and a corner kick reeulted, bub Stephenson did nob place the ball bo advantage. Though the Rangers prevented the opposing backs getting tbeir kicks, Stephenson was enabled to shoot for goal, but missed. The Druids now gob possession of the ball, -and Cash started a passing rush, which Jamieson spoilt, but he in return was outdone by Patterson, who quickly and truly passed to Brown, who evaded the backs, and shot for goal, but the angle was too great; but Brown, who was playing a hard and fast game, was not to be denied, for shortly afterwards he skilfully obtained the ball and sent it flying between the posts. Druids, 1; Rangers, 0. King now tried to turn the tables, but Hough was down on him swiftly. Allen, for a new man, shaped well, and made a good forward movement, but hesitated ("He that hesitates is lost"), and C. Heather relieved him of the leather. Shortly after, Patterson, Brown, and Evans advanced with a long passing attack, but could not get through. Each side now Strove hard for victory, and the ball travelled over the ground with lightning rapidity and eventually evaded. Jowitt and Crammond secured 4 goals for Rangers, bub in spite of all the defence of the Rangers the Druids' forwards broke through and dashed for the goal, and by the aid of Cash it fell. Four goals all. The few minutes that remained, although the Druids had the best of it, they did not alter the scores, and this splendid and perhaps the best match of the season ended in a draw.

Alliance v. Rovers.—The Alliance team won by three goals to two. Kemplay, Brown, and Clark scored for the Alliance, and Thomas scored for the Rovers.
