HUNDREDS OF FAMILIES
HOMELESS.
New York, May 18. Fifteen hundred families in Sb. Louis have been rendered homeless by floods, and 400 square miles of farming lands have been submerged. Traffic on Union Pacific railway lines is stopped. Two hundred housoa in Sioux ciby, lowa, have been submerged by floods, and numerous deaths are recorded.
