ARRIVALS. Takapuna, s.s., Grant, from the South. Passengers :—Misses Olive, Tyre, Morrico, Noble, Mesdames Denham, Dair and four children, Baume, Ratbray, Dr. MacGregor, Messrs A. E. Bovan, J. Mackay, Wood, Baumo, Hoare, C. J. Owen, Gerhard, Hushear, Norman, Baume. E. W. Sharman, F. Thomas, Smale, A. Miner, D. McKionon, and 13 steerage. Champion, ketch, from Nelson.
The s.s. Gairloch left for New Plymouth at 10 o'clock to-day. Passengers : Misses Coutt?, Hunter, Washer, Messrs Stone, Coutte, Sutherland, Lyell, Washer, Fraser, Williams, Martin, and 2 stoerage. Owing to the heavy sea anc! strong northwest winds prevalent on the West Coast, the s.e. Takapuna was unable to call u< New Plymouth.
