Not an autumn bliow would they deem it, but a mid-summer floral display. The Public Hall is tastefully decorated with flags and banners, while festoons of ferns, climbing plants, and floral devices are neatly interspersed with richi^ -arranged bouquets and hanging baskets of choice iowers, and the tables of hot-house plants,shrubs, rare foliage plants and dwarf palms lend a charm to tho Show not easily described. In tho vegetable department, there is a heavy display (heavy in more respects than one), pumpkins, cabbages, and other culinary products being very fine. The display of hot - house plants, etc., by a number of amateurs (lent for the occasion) g» v e a decided charm to the Show, andthese gentlemen should be congratulated upon the pleasure their labour and perseverance bring to others as well as to themselv<s. The show if cut flowers, hand bouquets, are in great number, and this exhibition will be oie of the Society's best efforts. Tin judges' awards will be made about 2 o'clock this afternoon.
