SCHOOL COMMITTEE NOMINATIONS.
NEWMARKET. —The following Newmarket householders have been nominated as members of the Newmarket School Committee for the ensuing year :—Messrs J. Lumpkin, W. Why man, liandall, Laxou, Such, G. Kent, and J. Wilson. Auckland City.—The following nominations were received by Mr Blade 9, chairman of the retiring committee :—Joseph Blades, l<. Fa-rell, P. Crowe, J. A. Adams. Dr. Walker and Mr R. J. Glover have expressed their determination to retire, and Mr Speight is said to be disinclined to stand again.
Mount Eden. — The following were nominated for the Mount Eden School district: —Messrs G. A. Buttle, J. J. Boak, W. Cole, W. H. Cooper, VV. Gray, S. W. Hill, T. Hanson, K. B. Nesbitt, K. A. Player.
