The first of the inter-club matches will b° played on Saturday next, weather permit" ting. The following are the names of the players : — On the Auckland ground: Mrs C. R. Chapman and Miss Gorrie v. Misses Spiers and I. Paton ; Misses Nicholson and Rigby v. Misses M. Paton and Hall; Miss F. Dargaville and Mr A. Goldie v. Mis 3E. Heskoth and Mr Hooper.
On tha Eden and Epsom ground : Messrs Stevenson and Turner v. Messrs Morrison and Carr ; Messrs Gould and Patterson v. Messrs Upfill and Sykes : Miss E. Scherff and Mr llich v. Miss Bull and Mr Macfarlane.
