_he annual meebing of bhe Auckland Harbour Board tor election of a chairman for tho ensuing twelve monbhs will take place at 11 a.m. to-morrow. Mr Malcolm Niccol, who has occupied the position of chairman for the past two years, bhough urged by many friends to stand for re-election, has decided to retire, and ib is nrobable he will to-morrow nominate Mr n C McMillan os his successor. It is exoected bhab Mr McMillan will bp lifted unopposed. He is a member of tho firm of Wm. McArbhur and Co., and bas been a member of the Harbour Board /several years.
