An Aspirant for the Guilotine.
A daring robbery was commibted ou a recent Sunday nighb in the Rue Breda. An old lady of 71 years was going home ab aboub eleven o'clock, when a lad walked up in front of heir and threw a handful of mud in her face. While sho was wiping her face with her pocket handkerchief, a young man, apparently about twenty years of age, nishod.V' at her, threw her down, and, snatched her purse. She cried out, and several persons went in pursuit of the thieves, but they only succeeded in catching the boy, who was taken before tho commissary of police. He gave the name of Auguste Vaberlo and was 14 years of age. . On being quesbioned he stated that his parents were in prison, and that he was anxious to join them there. On his. way to, tfie depot he said to the policeman, ' I am too young for the guillotine jusb yeb,,but in a few years you will hear more of me. Remember my name, for bhe guillotine will have my head,'
