The "A" Battery had a very fair mu»r*r lust evening, Captnin Geddes and Lieut. O'Brien being in command. Serßt.Major Bosh gave a very interesting and insln'uctive lecture on gunnery and the finding- of ranpe. He explained t hat range finders were often fcoo flow, and that the practice of sending out scouts to watch the etiecta of *hote and to signal the firing party was increasing at Home. He also gave some useful hints on quick range finding. After the lecture some marching drill was satisfactorily gone through.
