At a meeting of the Committee of the Judge's Bay Regatta last evening, the entry night was tixed lor January 16th. The programme, which appears in another part of this issue, is a varied one, and the entries are expected to be numerous. One novel item is the ladies' vvhaleboatrace, and Kome of the local clubs have already got crew 3in training for that event. Information has been, received from Wharekawa that a house there belonging to John Sainsbury, of Whangamata, was destroyed by .fire on the 23rd. The value of the house is about £100. No particulars are known as to how the affair arose. Experience has proved that the inosb economical Tea is Arthur Nathan's. You can have cither Ceylon, Indian, or the favourite Blended Tea, at 2a and 2s 6d per Ib. Try them.— (Advfc.)
