Foreign buyers have taken large quantities.
Superior scoured ehosvs a halfpenny advance on the last quotation. English wheat market is dull and tiie Continental is declining. The Americrm market is also dull.
For New Zealand wheat off the coast sellers are asking 455, but buyere refusse to give more than 445. , Tho Tainui's factory made butter realised 112s to 1225. Timaru Harbour Board debenture* haw risen one per cent. x

New Zealand beef four-quarters and hind.quarters are worth respectively 2sdaud 2gd per lb ; quofeations nominal. Kauri Gum.—Market firm. Good scraped, pale brownish and amber is wojrth 125s per cwt. Rough coated 6orta are worth 51s 6d per cwt.
