" Although Messrs Kirkpatrick and Co. pur- ' chased all the suitable Fruit they could ob« > tain laat season, their stocks of Jams, etc., were exhausted some weeks ago, and for more thana mouth past they have been unablo to fulfil orders. This fact, though in one sense unsatisfactory to the firm named, is gratifying, inasmuch as it proves the doeervedly high favour in which the 'X' Jams are held throughout the solony. This result is also of considerable) interest to the local fruit-growers, for it is an indicaI tion that during the coming season there will be an incroased demand for suitable fruits.
